I translated the Portal credits theme into Klingon!
Qu'vatlh yeah!

Star Trek is (C) Paramount.
The Klingon Language (pIqaD) is(C) the GENIUS Marc Okrand.
Portal is (C) Valve.
"Still Alive" is (C) Jonathan Coulton and Ellen McLain (as the voice of GLaDOS).
The translation, and ONLY the translation, is (C) knightswhodontsayni

Fun fact #1: there is no word for "cake" in Klingon, so I used the word for pie, "vutchab."
Fun fact #2: Klingon has no past tense, and the word for love is.... Wait for it.... "bang."
Fun fact #3: Portal 2 comes out April 19, 2011. GET IT.

Oh, it's mostly about affixes. for example, when forming a scentence in Klingon, you first have to put a prefix (such as qa, which means I [verb} you) in front of a verb (such as legh, which means see). then you put the noun (such as Duj, which means starship). Finally, you put the suffixes after the verb and noun, if any apply. In this case, I would put ta', which is past tense, and wI', which is "your.". Then I would put anything else needed, like linking the two words with je.
So, for example, you would get "qaleghta' je DujwI'," or "I saw you and your ship."
I don't know if you actually HAVE a ship, but I'm just using one as an example.
The verb for love is "bang." thus, "I love you" is "qabang." I'm not making this up.
Send me a note if you want me to teach you the naughty words.
